"Eason's Moving On Stage 14" Breaks Ticket Sales Record

Eason Chan, who will be holding his Moving On Stage 14 concert in Beijing on September 28, 2008, has both Hang Seng Bank and Johnnie Walker as this concert's sponsors. According to organizers, Eason's upcoming concert broke the past 2 years' ticket sales records, breaking the sales record of both Jay Chou and Jacky Cheung. The ticket sales have exceeded the expectations of organizers who were worried that the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2008 Paralympic Games would affect the ticket sales since The Games disabled thorough promotion of this concert; the type of thorough promotion they've done for other artists in the past. Eason is extremely happy of the support he is receiving and when he landed in Beijing on September 26th he immediately went the stadium to direct the stage and music for the concert and also practicing with Liu Xuan, former Olympic Gold Medalist and his guest for the concert.

Additionally, since this concert is the first major event following the 2008 Summer Games ticket holders are reminded that security will be different and more complicated from past concerts and are asked to avoid bringing bags and to arrive early for security checks. Items such as dangerous substances, cameras and video photography are prohibited.

Chilam Cheung, Patrick Tam & William So Will Be Knocking on Eason's Door in the Middle of the Night

Chilam and others "bump" into Eason

The Miss You Much Leslie concert, held in memory of Leslie Cheung and what would've been his 52nd birthday, was held in Chongqing on September 12, 2008. Eason Chan, who was promoting his November 15, 2008 Moving On Stage 16 concert in Chongqing that very same day appeared to be living in the same hotel as the guest performers of the Miss You Much Leslie concert. Unaware that they were living in the same hotel, when told, Chilam (Julian) Cheung, Patrick Tam and William So came up with a "plan". The three men told reporters not to alert Eason of their living arrangements and stood there mischievously like three children while coming up with their "plan." William says, "Let us find out his room number and we'll knock on his door like ghosts to give him a scare." Chilam then says, "We'll wait until the middle of the night, at 2am, and give him a call telling him to wake up for his late night bathroom run." Upon hearing this "plan" two other artists standing on the side gave their approval, including Nnadia Chan who laughed at their "plan."

On October 2, 2008, Eason Chan, Faith Yang and A-Yue Chang will perform at Samsung Imagine Live is Life Concert. Eason looks forward to performing with A-Yue, saying that A-Yue can play the guitar, can sing, can shed (as in shed his clothes) and he is no match for A-Yue. He also joked that he was afraid that before A-Yue gets to the venue the police are already closing off the arena.

After hearing this, A-Yue laughed while saying, "He said that? Tell him not to worry, I haven't shed in a long time this time it's his turn to shed. Eason voice is very captivating and can easily move a person, but I didn't know he was afraid of the police. I am not afraid, if the police come I'll just collect my performance fees and leave."

Faith, who injured her leg, says that if she doesn't recover in time and can't jump around on stage with the two then they'll play her. She says, "Just one of them being playful is more than enough and now adding another one, I can't imagine." Eason and A-Yue both replied, "Don't need to worry, we love women."

"Song.Praise" 歌.頌 MV Features 50 Behind the Scenes Individuals

Having recently released his newest collections album Solidays, Eason Chan invited 50 behind the scenes musicians, producers, dancers, etc., who have helped him throughout his 13 year career, to film his newest MV 歌.頌 (Song.Praise).

Having 50 friends helping him with his newest MV, Eason proudly says, "They have been helping me all these years. When I was talking to the director [of the MV] we thought it would take a long time to film, but they [the 50 behind the scenes individuals] are too good to me and we finished filming in one night. Even though it took 10 hours, it was a rare experience and a worthy experience." However, Keith Chan and Wyman Wong were not in Hong Kong and unable to make it, which Eason feels makes it a little imperfect. During the filming, Eason remembers his 13 year career and having so many behind the scenes individuals helping him and supporting him which causes him to tear up, creating an emotional set.

Individuals appearing in the MV are Moving On Stage musicians and dancers, Green Mountain Orchestra (青山大樂隊), Alvin Leong, Adrian Chou, Dennie Wong, etc. Even Lin Xi, who was in the middle of writing lyrics, took time out to appear in this MV.
