No Matter How Busy, Eason Always Has Time For Family

In mid-September, Eason Chan re-signed with Cineoply Records and received a 20 million HKD re-signing bonus, he has recently been filming and preparing for his upcoming concerts; it can be said that 'money is flowing his way.'

Even though Eason has been extremely busy, family always comes first. On September 30, 2007, Eason spent 100,000 HKD throwing a birthday party at Hong Kong Disneyland's Hotel for his daughter, Constance. October 4th marks Constance's 3rd birthday, and while last year they threw a boat party in Aberdeen Harbor, this year they spent 100,000 HKD on a Hong Kong Disneyland party. It seems as if Hilary Tsui took advantage of the timing, with Eason recently promoting Hong Kong Disneyland's Haunted Halloween, and probably received a discount. As Hong Kong Disneyland's Honorary Ambassador, Jacky Cheung previously held a birthday party at Hong Kong Disneyland for his eldest daughter.

At noon on September 30th, the family arrived at the hotel in their car with Constance dressed up as Minnie Mouse. It is said, Constance danced on stage with a dressed up as Mickey Mouse to entertain the guests and the performance garnered applause from the audience, while Eason was recording her performance.

The party was held buffet style, with multiple workers handing out Minnie Mouse balloons. Invitees were Constance's friends, parents and their maids, totaling to over 40 guests. Hilary was constantly making sure both Constance and Eason had enough food to eat. Before they were done eating, Constance noticed a slide and trampoline at the side of the room, immediately signaling to mom that she wanted to play. There were 4 cartoon characters at the party playing with the children, and Constance was constantly playing with the cartoon Minnie Mouse.

An employee at Hong Kong Disneyland's Hotel reveals that having the most basic party (i.e. drinks and service) at the hotel costs at least 50,000 HKD. If guests want to add other elements such as a buffet, cartoon characters, a slide and trampoline additional fees apply.

If anyone hasn't seen this before, this is a fan clip of Eason, Hilary and Constance at the Carnival (picture above) in March 2007:

Notice:
- how Constance hands the basket back to the employee (very aware and alert!)
- despite talking, Hilary sees Constance handing the basket back and informs the employee
- despite Eason talking away, he is fully aware of Constance and makes sure she doesn't fall
