"Crying in the Party", 酷愛, 電燈膽 Are All 2007 Hits

Eason Chan was asked about Hins Cheung winning first place for his song 酷愛 over his Crying in the Party (which was placed 2nd) at the Chik Chak 903 ceremony Tuesday night and he responded, "My fans were telling me that Stephy Tang's 電燈膽 is a better listen then my song, so I went and listened to it and I agree. Hin's 酷愛 it's a pretty good listen also, it has a good beat and if I were to sing that song I would have a hard time." He was then asked about Stephy's song not placing in the top 10 and he responds, "My song is a good song, but after listening to it for many times it loses it's freshness. [Her song being a good song] is just an opinion from myself and her fans, compared to my song her song continues to be refreshing."

In response to her song not making it to the top 10, Stephy Tang says that she is happy to receive praise from Eason Chan. 電燈膽 has indeed been a good song for her as it has brought many more fans to her music. She says that having people support and praise her is better than winning an award.

Alex Fong, Stephy's rumored boyfriend, was also asked about Stephy's 電燈膽 not making it to the top 10 and Eason's support. He responds, "I feel that the song is a big hit. Eason Chan is the music industry's big brother and what he says has an impact. I respect him for saying what he did."

Elsewhere, Hins Cheung was asked whether he felt Eason was bitter about losing the top song award to him, which led to Eason openly saying that Stephy's 電燈膽 was a good song [knowing it did not win an award] and essentially saying that it is a better song than Hin's 酷愛. Hins responds he knows that is not what Eason meant, there are other people in the industry that felt 電燈膽 should've placed in the top 10. He makes clear that he and Eason understand each other and work well together.
