Eason's Father to Undergo Liver Transplant

In 2006, Eason Chan's father, Chan Kau Tai 陳裘大, was sentenced to 6 years in prison on corruption charges. On Wednesday, February 27, 2008, the charges against Chan Kau Tai will be brought to an appeals court in hopes for a reduced sentence. The attorney representing Chan Kau Tai says Chan Kau Tai has been suffering from liver cancer and needs to receive a liver transplant as soon as possible. It is reported that in March, elder son Chan Jak Shun 陳澤迅 will donate half his liver to his father.
