Eric Tsang Sees Acting Potential in Eason Chan

Eric Tsang sees a temporary shortage of films in the Hong Kong industry and hopes that everyone will work together in contributing to the film industry. In regards to younger actors and behind-the-scenes crew, who does Eric see potential in? After taking a moment to think Eric says for actors he sees potential in singers Eason Chan and Fama, for directors he sees potential in Edmond Pang Ho Cheung.

Last year Eric and Eason collaborated in the film The Pye-Dog; in regards to Eason's acting Eric had nothing but good things to say. "I feel Eason is a good actor, his acting isn't bad. His acting is explosive. If he can focus on filming for a period of time, his achievements in acting will not be less than his achievements in singing. Artists these days are too greedy, singing and acting at the same time will split ones focus. I remember that Jacky Cheung stopped filming for a while and focused on his singing only, which is why he is such a successful singer," Eric says.
