Eason: "We should transfer our love for Lydia to Joyce"

Eason Chan appeared at a Metro Radio Showbiz function yesterday and due to schedule problems was unable to perform at the Lydia Shum We Will Always Remember You event. However, he says he will always remember Lydia in his heart and sent a flower basket to the event.

Eason says, "I released an album (Life Continues EP...) with my daughter's picture on the cover, meaning that she is the continuation of my life. I heard Dr. Lo (Lydia's doctor) saying that in Lydia's last moments she kept looking at Joyce Cheng and it was obvious that it was hard for her to leave her daughter behind. As a father, I can understand how she felt. Lydia left behind happy memories, serious work ethics, the love of life, the strength of life and the continuation of her life, Joyce. Since Lydia went to a more comfortable place, we should transfer our love for her to Joyce. I believe that if something happened to me, all I would need is for people to love my daughter."

Eason praises Joyce for her strength, saying that she is extremely strong especially being able to face the media at the hospital.
