"Eason's Moving On Stage 7 - Guangzhou" Promo
Eason's Moving On Stage 7 will be held on April 19, 2008 in Guangzhou at Tian He Stadium 天河體育場. In the afternoon of March 3, 2008, Eason Chan was in Guangzhou promoting his upcoming concert. Aside from attracting media the event also attracted many fans. Being in a good mood, Eason set aside his rule and allowed fans to present him with flowers.
After a successful run of his Moving On Stage 1 concerts in Hong Kong and a well received concert in Taipei, Eason says the upcoming Guangzhou concert will be similar to that of Madonna's where there are many dancers on stage and the atmosphere is party-like. When asked how this upcoming concert would be different from his others, he replied that there will be more dancing, the wardrobe will be similar to that of Moving On Stage 1 with a couple of different outfits, and since his new album is due for released he might perform some new songs.
When asked if he will invite any special guests, Eason responds that the fans are all special guests. As for the title of the concert being "Moving On" Eason says it represents his music moving forward and him constantly moving on the stage during the concert. As for what would be different with the stage and effects, he says there will be some new effects.
When talking about the rundown of the concert, Eason says they are still talking to the organizers to work out a rundown. When asked about songs that he will definitely perform, he names 與我常在 (Always With Me), 明年今日 (Same Time Next Year) and K歌之王 (King of Karaoke). Eason explains that the lyrics "除非你是我,才可與我常在" ("unless you are me, how are you always be with me") to 與我常在 gives off a different feeling every time he performs it and having 10,000+ fans singing it with him is great; every time he performs 明年今日 with the fans he really gets into it; and every time the line "我唱得不夠動人你別皺眉" ("you will frown if my singing does not touch you") to K歌之王 comes up the fans react in a touched manner.
The 2008 Beijing Olympics are coming up and since Eason was chosen as one of the Olympic Torchbearers a reporter suggested that he should have an Olympics segment during his concert where he would perform his 狂熱革命 (Maniacal Revolution). Eason says when he wrote the song there wasn't any objective, but after it was released he felt it gave off a sense of momentum and strenuous effort and he will consider singing 狂熱革命 during his concert, but as for whether he will write a song for the Olympics he says he is rather lazy and will focus on putting on a good show instead.
