A couple of weeks ago, Eason Chan went onto the Black @ 903 program hosted by Donald (I Love You Boyz) to promote his newest release Solidays. At the same time he revealed that he will be releasing a new album next year. Afterwards and more recently, Eason did a number of interviews where he revealed the same details about the upcoming album, as follows.
Title: Eason and the Moving On Band (tentative)
Concept: (a) this album will be the final chapter of the Moving On Stage HK & Tour and will serve as a memory for everyone involved
(b) each band member of Moving On Stage HK & Tour, plus Eason, will write a song
Language(s): (a) Cantonese only OR (b) Cantonese, Mandarin & English
Release date: after the Moving On Stage Tour ends (the tour is expected to run into next year (2009))
Band members/Composers: Pal Sinn, CY Kong, Davy Chan, Joey Tang, Yin Wong, Gary Tong, Anthony Sun, Pam, Pat Lui, Jim Lau, Lau Ji Yuen
Lyricists: currently on board are Wyman Wong & Lin Xi
Other details: (a) they have already gone to the studio and started working on the album, Wyman and Lin Xi have already started writing lyrics
(b) there are a couple of songs which they feel are more Mandarin friendly and some more English friendly, so the language(s) of the album is undecided
(c) since all the band members know how to arrange and produce, either they will arrange and produce their own song or they will mix and match the arranging and producing
