Having gathered 300 artists within 4 days, Eric Tsang is Hong Kong's "Caring Leader" (愛心首領). Eric is always the first to respond when a big event causes the artists of Hong Kong to gather. During an interview with Guangzhou Daily, Eric says he still enjoys the preparation process although he did not sleep for 3 days in order to prepare for the Artistes 88 Fundraising Campaign on August 17, 2009.
Guangzhou Daily: If you were to step down from your role as President of the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild, who would you want to succeed your role?
Eric: Actually, we are currently training two artists, Eason Chan and Jaycee Fong. The two of them are capable which is why we were in touch with them during the preparation process [of the Artistes 88 Fundraising Campaign] and the younger generation of artists were gathered by them.
