"The Pye-Dog" Wins Another Award Before Release

Earlier, the Eason Chan, Eric Tsang, George Lam & Gia Lin starring film, The Pye-Dog, was awarded top honors at the Japan Asian Marine Film Festival. Recently, The Pye-Dog was awarded the "European Assessed Best Youth Film Award" at The German International Innocence Film Festival.

First time director, Derek Kwok, personally went to Germany to accepted the award and said, "I really want to thank Eric Tsang for giving me the opportunity to have full control when directing. The opportunity he gives to young directors is rare in the industry. When I first found out we won an award, he was the first person I called. When Eason found out we won an award he said he will give me a big gift when I return to Hong Kong." Busy practicing for his upcoming concerts, Eason was not able travel and accept the award with Derek but says, "Derek is a young director with a lot of potential, which is why we are already talking about working together again."
