Yesterday, January 22, 2008, Eason Chan attended the premiere of his TVB HD Special 現塵世美. This special documents Eason's experience in Tasmania, Australia and Eason had this to say about the experience, "I went there for 8 days and it was an extremely great experience. Once I stepped off the plane I was able to smell the wild grass scent, which is a wonderful scent. I saw a lot of things that one would not be able to see in the city. Aside from seeing 30 feet long humpback whales, I saw the world's smallest penguins, I was able to see kangaroos up close and I also milked cows." When asked if he would return to Tasmania again, he responds, "I want to go again, when my daughter becomes older we will go together."
Since this special was filmed in HD, Eason would have to wake up every morning at 5 o'clock to get his make up done.
