On April 3, 2008, Eason Chan attended a function for Johnnie Walker and promoted his upcoming Moving On Stage 7 - Guangzhou concert. During the function Eason revealed that he has already recorded 4 songs for his upcoming Mandarin album. In trying new things, one of the songs will be of the hip-hop genre and another will be his first ever song in English.
